Shepherd Scopes Releases Thermal Line of Hunting Scopes in Partnership with Armasight

Seminole, FL  –  Shepherd Scopes, which has been in existence since 1981, has announced its first thermal imaging line of hunting scopes. In cooperation with Armasight Inc, Shepherd will now offer their patented and copyrighted reticle design in two of Armasight’s thermal products the Prowler 336 2-8×25 and the Prowler 640 1-8X25. In addition Shepherd will also offer a package where the standard visible optics can be paired with the Jackal 336 or 640 clip on thermal sights to create a small compact day night hunting sight combination.

“Shepherd has been working with Salvo Technologies and their partner Armasight for quite a while now on multiple projects.” said Bess Shepherd, president Shepherd Scopes. “This is the first time in our very long history we have come out with a thermal sight utilizing our technology. We are excited to work with a very high quality manufacturer like Aramasight.”

“This type of partnership is a win/win.” Said Allen Harding VP of International Business Development for Armasight. “Shepherd has a very loyal following and we are happy to be able to provide a thermal product offering to their customers. In addition our thermal products complement their visible offerings nicely.”

The new co-branded product line will be available mid-summer 2016 just in time for hunting season and will be featured in Shepherd’s new catalog to be released around that same time. Dealers and select user groups will have access to the product starting in May.
